Mayor: Public schools closed Wednesday due to spring snowstorm
Mayor Bill de Blasio says New York City public schools will be closed Wednesday in light of the snowstorm.
The mayor tweeted the announcement Tuesday shortly before 6 p.m.
Alternate-side parking will be suspended Wednesday and Thursday as well.
