A man punched a 5-year-old boy in the face on the subway, according to police.
Ramon Thomas, 25, is accused of punching the boy on the G train Saturday.
Police say Thomas punched the child in the face while he was riding the train with his mother.
Thomas is also accused of verbally taunting the boy after the incident by asking him, "Are you going to tell your mommy I hit you?"
He was last seen running from the Bergen Street station around 4 p.m.
The child sustained bruising and swelling to the left side of his face and was treated at NYU Langone Health Emergency Room.
Police say Thomas has a prior arrest for jumping the turnstyle.
Anyone with information on Thomas' location is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-8477.
