New Yorkers were warned of a simulated explosion scheduled for Monday in Brooklyn as part of a shoot for a TV show.

The scene was for an NBC project called "The Enemy Within." The shot that caused the alert involves a car chase, crash, explosion and a fireball.

Film crews set up over several parking lots on a dead-end industrial street in Red Hook, where the scene was supervised by the NYPD and FDNY, according to the mayor's office.
