A livery cab driver who was shot on the job was reunited Wednesday with the officers who helped save him.
Jeffery Camacho delivered flowers to officers Sean Higgins and Jennifer Nicalek outside the 43rd Precinct for helping to save his life.
Camacho was shot eight times after dropping off a passenger in Soundview about a month ago. Authorities say he usually used an Uber app but decided to pick up a man off the street without using it.
Camacho says the passenger, Mario Powell, shot him after robbing him of $23.
He managed to drive himself to a patrol car, which was blocks away.  The officers took care of him until an ambulance arrived.
The officers said they were just glad to be able to help.
