Brooklyn Public Library hosts ‘90s-themed party

A '90s-themed party planned entirely by teens took over a public library main branch Saturday in Prospect Heights. 

The event was the culmination of one year of planning – part of an initiative by the Brooklyn Public Library to foster camaraderie among students and library staff.

Organizers say the event has been running for three years and has succeeded in getting new generations excited about learning.
