Police say that a suspect who allegedly shot and killed a man in East New York Sunday afternoon is in custody and being questioned by officials.

They say the suspect, 32-year-old Jahmorley O. Gayle, is the victim’s brother.

Police say they got a call around noon of a shooting on Hendrix Street and Sutter Avenue.  When they arrived on the scene, they found a 37-year-old man shot in the shoulder inside of 475 Hendrix St.

The man was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police say they found a firearm and tracked it to Gayle.
