WILLIAMSBURG -

Police in Williamsburg say two people in their 20s were found dead in a North Eighth Street apartment building.

Officials say police arrived around 1:20 p.m. Sunday and found a 28-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman unconscious in the bedroom of the apartment.

Emergency responders pronounced both victims dead.

Sources tell News 12 there is no visible sign of any trauma and the apartment does not appear to have been broken into.

They also say there does not appear any weapon involved, but detectives say they did find some drug paraphernalia.

The cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner who is still on scene looking into the case.

News 12 has not yet learned the names of the victims.
