The Dekalb Market Hall is among a number of vendors offering discounts this week to mark National Small Business Week.

With help from the city Department of Small Business Services, dozens of shops in the market were able to open almost two months earlier than expected.

SBS helped them file regulatory paperwork and find locations that worked within their budgets.

Select vendors at the market will pay it forward by offering a 10 percent discount beginning Tuesday. To take advantage of this, shoppers have to mention National Small Business Week to the cashier.
