Is R. Kelly’s Time Up?

The Women of Color group within the Time’s Up movement is looking to take the singer down.

In an open letter on Instagram, the group listed R. Kelly’s alleged inappropriate behavior. Over the years, the music icon has been accused of sexual misconduct with underage girls.

In the most infamous case, R. Kelly was indicted on child pornography charges for allegedly taping a sexual encounter with a teenage girl. He was acquitted.

WOC is calling on companies and the music industry to cut ties with the artist, coining the campaign #MuteRKelly.

The women’s group is demanding an investigation into sexual assault claims against him.
