Police are asking for the public's help in tracking down an assault suspect in Williamsburg.

Police say a man approached a 58-year-old victim Tuesday morning on River Street and beat him with a baseball bat before walking off.

The assailant was wearing a black du-rag, white camouflage pants and a black jacket with a design on the back.

The suspect was also walking two small dogs at the time of the attack.
