Summer-like warmth blanketed the borough Thursday, with temperatures above 80 for the second day in a row.
T-shirts, sunglasses, shorts and smiles were visible nearly everywhere -- especially along the American Veterans Memorial Pier in Bay Ridge.
People were out walking their dogs, biking, running and even getting work done outside.
"I just got back from Florida Monday night, and then thankfully got back just in time for the nice weather," says Karen Tadross, a Bay Ridge resident. "So I am kind of continuing my Florida vacation, but if it stays like this I would be thrilled."
Friday is expected to remain hot, with a high of 86. But skies will be cloudy and there is a chance of late-day storms.
