CANARSIE -

An early morning crash Sunday in Canarsie sent four people to the hospital.

Officials say a 26-year-old man is fighting for his life after his car crashed into another vehicle at Seaview Avenue and East 85th Street and flipped over.

His passenger, a 23-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries.

Police say the male driver of the other vehicle and a female passenger in that car sustained neck and back pain from the crash.

All four were taken to Brookdale Hospital.

Officials say the car was traveling westbound on Seaview Avenue around 6 a.m. when it collided with a gray Honda traveling southbound.

Police are investigating what caused the crash.
