Severe storms are sweeping through Brooklyn.

Lightning, damaging winds of 50 to 60 mph, hail up to 1 inch in diameter and torrential downpours are possible. There's also the chance for flash flooding.

Tuesday's high temperature was around 85 degrees.

More rain is possible through Friday, which is currently expected to be a washout.
