Police: Suspect wanted in East New York shooting that injured 1

EAST NEW YORK -

A man is recovering in the hospital this morning after being shot in East New York last Saturday.

Police tell News 12 the 26-year-old victim was in front of 71 Milford Street when he was approached by a man he didn't know.

News 12 is told that man, seen on surveillance video, shot him in the neck and shoulder at around 5 a.m. and then ran off.

Police say he was later seen in a dark colored SUV traveling on Atlantic Avenue.

Police say he was last seen wearing a dark colored baseball cap, a dark colored tee-shirt with "NYC" on the front and dark pants.

The victim was taken to Brookdale Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
