Brooklyn viewing parties toast the royal wedding

Community members attended viewing parties in Brooklyn Saturday to watch Great Britain’s Prince Harry tie the knot with American actress Meghan Markle.

People woke up at the crack of dawn to watch the celebration. Some were donning fancy hats and feathers for the special occasion as they flocked to the Williamsburg Hotel for a classy viewing party.

The hotel was serving up high tea with scones and champagne as big television screens were streaming the wedding.

The hotel was also providing a hat booth to help attendees feel like they were on the royal guest list.

Now that the two are married, the royal couple will be known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
