Students visit New York Aquarium for Fleet Week

CONEY ISLAND -

Students were treated to a unique Fleet Week experience Wednesday at the New York Aquarium in Coney Island.

Students from Urban Strategies Early Learn attended the event.

"We are all diving into the aquarium just showing the local population what we do,” said Terrance Juergens, a U.S. Navy diver. “Answering questions, playing some tic-tac-toe with kids, asking them science questions and just having fun with them."

Fleet Week events run through Monday, and onlookers can watch the ships leaving the New York Harbor on Tuesday.
