A Park Slope family is asking the public for help in finding its missing dog.
Christopher Mayne says he was away for the Memorial Day weekend with his family when he was notified that his dog Zoey had gone missing. Mayne says a friend who was sitting for the dog left the home and returned to find the door open and several things missing, including Zoey.
Police confirm a report was made about the burglary.
Mayne is now posting lost dog flyers, hoping someone has seen his dog. Zoey has a microchip and a reward is being offered.
"At this point I just want Zoey back," says Mayne. "I'm offering a substantial reward, no questions asked."
Anyone with information is asked to call Mayne at 541-285-4952 or 541-285-4012. You can also send an email to mayne.christopher@gmail.com.
