Brooklyn family reunited with missing dog

A Brooklyn family found a happy ending in their search for their dog, who escaped during a burglary while they weren’t home.
Zoey, a mixed-breed dog, went missing over Memorial Day weekend while the Mayne family was away.
The family returned home to find their house broken into and the 42-pound dog gone.
The Maynes put up fliers in their neighborhood and offered a reward for their dog's return.
Selena Parham and her daughter Lauren helped find the dog Friday. They say they saw Zoey with two men, and that the dog was noticeably scared and shaking.
They approached the men, who said they were going to euthanize the dog. The younger Parhamoffered to take Zoey home, and the men allowed her to.
The two women took care of Zoey and put out word that they found a missing dog. They soon cameinto contact with the Mayne family.
"We are so grateful to Selena and her daughter Lauren," says Chris Mayne. "They are just the most wonderful people. We are truly blessed."
Police are still searching for whoever broke into the Maynes’ home.
