Midwood students show off projects at science expo

Future scientists, computer programmers and engineers showed off their work in Midwood Thursday during a science fair.

The “Young Minds Science Expo” for District 22 showcased the best and brightest at the Joan Snow Pre-K Center.

Projects included longest-lasting gum flavors, homemade radios and horizontal elevators.

The fair is designed to teach students that STEAM – science, technology, engineering, art and math – projects can be fun.
