Bronx man charged in fatal shooting

A man has been charged in connection to a fatal shooting in the Bronx, police say.
Jamel Fielder, 28, of the Bronx was arrested Thursday in connection to the fatal shooting of Cheyenne Carter.
Carter was shot and killed on May 26 in front of 300 E. 143rd St. outside the Patterson Houses. 
Police say they found the 22-year-old unresponsive in front of a building around midnight with two gunshot wounds – one to his head and one to his stomach.
Carter was taken to Lincoln Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Jamel has been charged with murder.
