$2,500 reward offered in case of slain teenPosted: Updated:
Police are offering $2,500 leading to the arrests of several suspects connected to the stabbing death of a 15-year-old boy outside of a Bronx bodega.
The incident happened on E. 183rd Street Wednesday just before 12 a.m.
Lesandro Guzman-Feliz ,15, of the Bronx, was stabbed and slashed multiple times including once in the neck.
He attempted to run to St. Barnabas Hospital to seek help but collapsed and police say he later died.
In surveillance video released by the NYPD, several suspects can be seen entering the bodega near where the incident occurred.
At least one of the men in the video is carrying what appears to be a large kitchen knife.
Several suspects and at least two vehicles are also seen in the video.
Guzman-Feliz's mother says her son told her he was going to loan a friend money at the bodega the night he was killed, and that was the last time she saw him.
The 15-year-old was known by many in the community as 'Junior,' and he had dreams of one day becoming an NYPD detective.
Anyone who recognizes the men from the video is asked to call police at 1-800-577-TIPS.
