Police need the public’s help in finding a man they say robbed a woman.

According to authorities, on May 31, the suspect snatched a woman's phone and tried to take her bag on a northbound D train as it approached the Fordham Road station.

The suspect got away, but the victim and a Good Samaritan tracked him to a restaurant where they were able to get the phone back.

The suspect however was able to make off with the victim's phone case which had her debit and credit card in it.
