BED-STUY -

Two Brooklyn residents teamed up to create a modern and accessible approach to wellness in Bed-Stuy.

Darian Hall and Elisa Shankle opened up Heal Haus with the goal of helping others in ways that have helped them.

Heal Haus is a café and wellness space that offers a variety of daily yoga, meditation and healing classes and workshops. Visitors also have access to private services like massages, facials and acupuncture.

"What we try to do at Heal Haus is have all these different healing modalities under one roof so you can access things that help your mental health and also access your spirit," said Shankle.

The founders say that they welcome visitors who are going through rough times or simply want to relieve stress at the end of a long day.

"Bed-Stuy is in desperate need of health and wellness and healing and well-being," said Hall. "And this space kind of provides all of those things."

An annual membership costs $1,085, and drop-in classes range from $15 to $20.

Interested guests have access to a limited-time special promotional rate of $20 classes for two weeks of unlimited classes.
