Brooklyn faces scorching Sunday

Brooklyn is dealing with a blazing hot Sunday, with oppressively hot temperatures.
Locals still hit the beach and boardwalk at Coney Island with temperatures in the mid-90s.
The city has opened cooling centers for those outdoors who need a break from the sun.
City officials are also urging those with elderly or sick relatives to check on them throughout the day.
They are also telling locals to keep summer essentials in mind -- sunscreen and water.
Though temps will drop somewhat, temperatures in the 90s are still expected over the next few days.
