NFL’s Curtis Samuel runs free football camp for kids

Since graduating from Erasmus Hall High School in 2014, football has taken Curtis Samuel to Ohio State for college, and now the Carolina Panthers in the NFL.
On Saturday, he ran a free football camp at his old high school field for a second consecutive summer.
"I felt like it was my duty as a person from Brooklyn just making it to the next level,” said Samuel.
Samuel was out on the field, leading drills and getting involved with the campers.
Even though the day is about football, Samuel hopes that it's not the main thing that campers take out of it.
“If you feel like you have the talent to play football, then go for it, but don't have that as your only plan," he said. "Sports is not the only way out of New York City. Anything you put your mind to, you can do it, and I believe these New York City kids can."
