EAST NEW YORK -

Police found a boy with multiple gunshot wounds near the intersection of Euclid and Blake avenues in East New York Sunday -- the day after his 16th birthday.

Justin Richey was pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital. He was also known as "Chuck," and friends and neighbors say he was a caring person and basketball player who wanted to grow up and become a doctor.

Police say they believe a dispute between the teen and three young men preceded the shooting.

No arrests have been made.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
