Police seek 2 men accused of attacking, robbing taxi driver in Fort Greene

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding two men accused of robbing a cab driver in Fort Greene.

Police tell News 12 two men hailed a cab Friday on Lafayette Avenue and Fulton Street.

They say one sitting in the passenger seat and another in the back.

After telling the driver where to go, police say the suspect in the front punched him in the face multiple times.

The duo then got out of the car and one of the men pretended he had a gun and threatened to shoot.

The suspects made away with $360, a cellphone and the cab drive’s wallet.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
