The aunt of one of the men shot inside a Brooklyn park says her nephew is a good person.
One person was fatally shot and two people were injured Thursday at the Bushwick Playground on Knickerbocker Avenue and Madison Street around 6:30 p.m.
The woman says her nephew was one of the 20-year-olds who was shot and that he's a good person who attends school and never hangs out in the streets.
She says a fight started between her nephew, two of his friends and two other people who pulled out guns.
Police say a 20-year-old man was shot in the back and elbow, a 20-year-old man was grazed in the arm by a bullet and a 21-year-old man was shot in the back.
Two of the men were transported to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition while the 21-year-old man was transported to Wyckoff Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Police say they are searching for two suspects in connection to the shooting.
No arrests have been made.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS
