Police: Crawling woman charged in Borough Park burglary

BOROUGH PARK -

A woman has been charged with burglary after police say she crawled her way through the home of a 90-year-old Borough Park woman.

Gasurova Umeda, 45, of Brooklyn, was charged with burglary and criminal possession of stolen property.

Police say Umeda was captured on surveillance video crawling through the 90-year-old woman's house while she stole jewelry and silverware.

The items valued around $2,000.

Police say the 90-year-old woman was home at the time of the incident but she was not injured.

Umeda was arrested at the 66th police precinct.
