Borough President Eric L. Adams has teamed up with Food Bank NYC to help women in need of access to feminine hygiene products.

According to officials, women between the ages of 12 and 54 purchase approximately 250 feminine items a year, making them a luxury for women living below the poverty line.

Donations can be made online or brought to Borough Hall.

Products donated within the next three months will be distributed to soup kitchens and food pantries across Brooklyn.
