News 12 tries to get New Jerseyans to relax on National Relaxation Day

Aug. 15 marked National Relaxation Day.
New Jersey is known as a fast-paced state where not many are able to take the time to relax.
News 12’s Brian Donohue set up in Newark to try to get some New Jerseyans to take some time to themselves on National Relaxation Day.
After a brief run-in with law enforcement and some reluctant state residents, Donohue was finally able to get some people to take some time and relax.
National Relaxation Day was founded in 1985 by Sean Moeller who was a fourth-grader at the time. He wanted everyone to just do nothing for a day.
