Police to host basketball tournament with kids

BROWNSVILLE -

Police and children will be teaming up for a basketball tournament Friday as a response to the shooting deaths of two teenagers.

The Brooklyn South and North teams will be participating in the tournament. 

Officers say they want to build a much-needed relationship with the children.

One officer says they specifically want to get kids off the street and show them a different side of police.
