Final days of summer usher in crisp fall feel

The summer of 2018 is winding down, and a fall feel is already settling over the city.
Temperatures Thursday were markedly cooler, topping out in only the low-70s with breezy conditions.
People were hanging out at Van Cortlandt Park in long-sleeved shirts and jackets.
Some residents said they welcomed the relief after a stretch of humid, sweltering weather.
News 12 meteorologists say the final day of summer on Friday will see temps top out around 75 degrees with a mix of sun and clouds. Saturday will see more of the same to start fall, with slightly cooler highs around 74 degrees.
