A Bronx teacher is looking to inspire students at the Fordham Leadership Academy and make them feel appreciated through art.
The principal of the school says they're looking to put a bigger focus on art by expanding the program.
Larry Minetti, who has been teaching art for 23 years, says the school is taking a huge step and that art is making a comeback in the New York City school system.
Students of Minetti say that they feel free to express themselves in their art.
Minetti had just started teaching at Fordham Leadership Academy this year.
