A soup kitchen in Borough Park spent Sunday preparing for the start of the Jewish holiday of Sukkot.
Masbia’s Soup Kitchen will feed hundreds of people all week long during the holiday of Sukkot.
The holiday invites the needy to a five-course meal in a tent called a Sukkah.
Groups of 40 people will be served at a time in the tent, with the food provided by the soup kitchen, located at 2404 New Utrecht Ave.
The meal will be served in the soup kitchen in the event of rain.
