Hundreds of people made their way to Dumbo for a new annual tradition Friday night.
The Great Dumbo Drop, hosted by the Dumbo Business Improvement District, serves as a way for neighbors to have fun while supporting a good cause.
The event has thousands of mini toy elephants parachuting from the sky onto Washington and Water streets.
The toy elephants can be adopted for $20 each and all proceeds go toward supporting local schools.
This is the second year the event was held.
