EAST MIDWOOD -

Police have arrested the brother of a 4-year-old boy found dead on the floor in the courtyard of his East Midwood apartment building Saturday.

Sources say 20-year-old Shawn Smith may have been dealing with mental illness when he allegedly threw his younger brother, Shimron Smith, off the roof of their home on Nostrand Avenue.
