Police identified a suspect in the death of a teen, just hours after loved ones paid tribute to him.
Timothy Oyebola, 16, was shot and killed Sept. 21 at Chester Playground while playing basketball with two of his friends.
Police say about two shots were fired at the playground just before 4 p.m. that Friday and tell News 12 Brooklyn that there is a strong possibility that Oyebola wasn't the intended target, but an innocent bystander.
Investigators now say a person of interest is 14-year-old Aaron Nathaniel, who was last seen fleeing the scene of the shooting.
Loved ones gathered to honor Oyebola with a march Monday, starting at Brooklyn Ascend Charter School and ending at Chester Playground.
People at Monday's march say it's their way of coping with the loss of a student and friend who was loved by many.
