Shots were fired this afternoon in one of the busiest areas of Brooklyn.
Investigators say the gunfire was a result of a fight outside the Atlantic Terminal Mall. The shots were fired just before 4:30 p.m., according to police.
Authorities haven’t named any suspects but describe the gunman as a teenage boy.
Two shell casings were recovered but nobody was struck or hurt.
It remains unclear what the motive for the shooting was.
The gunfire happened hours ahead of the Bruno Mars concert at Barclays Center.
There was a shooting in the same area Monday, but police say the incidents are not related.
The shooting comes days after another shooting in another busy part of the borough. A person was grazed by a bullet Monday when shots were fired steps from the Brooklyn Bridge. A source says that case may be gang-related.
