<p>A man is dead after an overnight shooting at the Red Hook East Houses.</p>

Police: Man is fatally shot at Red Hook East Houses
A man is dead after an overnight shooting at the Red Hook East Houses.
Officers responded to the 700 block of Hicks Street just before 11 p.m. Friday.
They tell News 12 the 30-year-old victim was lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to his back.
He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
