The Nets took over the Brooklyn Bridge Park, holding an open practice free to fans living in Brooklyn.
Players and coaches signed autographs, took photographs and tossed items to the crowd.
"We're gonna be engrained in the community,” said Joe Harris, Nets forward. “We're gonna try to be positive role models and we're gonna try to get everybody actively involved to see and feel what the culture is like of our organization."
A few of the coaches and players told News 12 just how many fans came out to this event, making it a safe bet to say they'll return for a third year.
