Friends, family and community members remembered Brooklyn rapper Hollywood Play, who was fatally shot outside of a Queens nightclub over the weekend.

Mourners gathered at a vigil Sunday night to honor his life outside of the Tavern Lounge in Woodhaven.

Police say the 35-year-old rapper, whose real name was Frank Snyder, was gunned down around 3:15 a.m. Sunday. They say he had been at a birthday party when he was shot once in the neck and leg. He was later pronounced dead.

Police say the shooter was in a black four-door sedan that sped off after the shots rang out. They have not identified any suspects at this time.

Hollywood Play's manager tells News 12 that the rapper was known for giving back to people in need.

Mourners recounted stories of Snyder's good deeds and influence in the community.

A second vigil to honor his life was held Monday in Herbert Von King Park -- the same location where he often held community service events.

Friends say they hope to keep his memory alive by continuing his community service in the years to come.
