Crowds of people flocked to the 35th annual Oyster Fest this weekend in Oyster Bay.
It's one of Long Island's biggest fall festivals, and organizers said that about 100,000 people turned out for the event at Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park.
Admission, parking and most activities were free. Oyster eating and shucking contests were held, and Grucci fireworks lit up the skies at night.
Proceeds from the festival's food court went to charity.
Organizers said they were knew it was a success this year because all of the oysters sold out.
