Police: Man slashed inside Bronx subway station

A man was slashed by another man inside of a Bronx subway station, police say.
The incident happened on Oct. 15 inside of the E. Gun Hill Road subway station around 6 a.m.
Police say two men got into a verbal dispute inside the mezzanine of the station which quickly escalated and moved to the train platform.
It was on the train platform where one of the men slashed a 38-year-old man in the face with a sharp object causing a deep cut.
The victim was transported to the hospital and received 30 stitches, police say.
Police have released surveillance video of the suspect.
