A collision between two cars Thursday in Crown Heights caused one of the vehicles to careen into a father and son who were crossing the street.

Surveillance video from a home shows the man and child trying to cross Crown Street at Brooklyn Avenue when they're blindsided by two colliding cars. The pedestrians were hit and thrown onto a lawn.

Another video shows the father and son getting into an ambulance. Police say they were taken to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital with minor injuries.

Police say both vehicles involved stayed on scene after the crash.
