PS 115 among Brooklyn voting locations to suffer Election Day mishaps

P.S. 115 in Canarsie was among the polling locations in Brooklyn that experienced difficulties on Election Day.
Poll workers say midterm election turnout was massive, with people even waiting outside the site before polls opened Tuesday morning.
Board of Elections staffers said there had been 2,000 voters as of the mid-afternoon. Staff said there typically would be around 500 voters throughout the entire day in the past.
Scanners in various parts of New York City had issues Tuesday, leading to an outcry from annoyed voters.
Also causing problems was the new two-page ballot. Machines cannot read both pages, so voters have to separate them. But if there was even a small tear, machines were not be able to read them.
