Police are searching for the man responsible for sexually assaulting a woman near Prospect Park.

Police say around 2:30 a.m. Sunday a 59-year-old woman was attacked near Parkside Avenue and Parade Place. Police say the suspect grabbed the woman and forced her into a parked vehicle.

Police say the suspect threatened the woman with a knife and sexually assaulted her before fleeing. 

Neighbors say the incident is disturbing and hits way too close to home.
