Police: 1 hurt after shooting at Cypress Hills restaurant

One person was sent to the hospital after a shooting in Cypress Hills Monday morning.
There was a heavy police presence at all four corners of Fulton and Logan streets leading up to Mar de Plata, a popular catering hall known to be a club for dancing.
News 12 is told shots rang out around 4:20 a.m. near the intersection.
The 18-year-old victim was transported to Jamaica Hospital for a gunshot wound to the leg. He remains in stable condition.
News 12 is told guests are usually checked as they come into the restaurant and longue, but the suspect snuck into Mar de Plata while the bouncer was breaking up a separate dispute outside.
The intersection was closed earlier in the day. It has since reopened.
No arrests have been made.
