Thousands of runners participated in a Jingle Bell Jog to help raise money for youth programs.
Participants were given jingle bells to wear on their sneakers and some even came in costume.
There were races for both adults and children.
Nev Schulman, of “Catfish” fame, and his wife were out to cheer on their daughter Cleo in her first-ever run.
The CEO of the New York Road Runners told News 12 the main goal of the event is to get people moving and to encourage a healthy lifestyle.
