Medical examiner: Gunshot killed teen found on Bed-Stuy rooftop

The medical examiner said Wednesday that the cause of death for a young man found on a rooftop at the Brevoort Houses was a gunshot wound to the torso.
Police say Ihuoma Uchanma, 18, was found Tuesday around 4:20 p.m. by officers doing vertical patrols. He was found face up and partially undressed.
People in the building tell News 12 they didn't hear anything and didn't even know what had happened until police knocked on their door. Meanwhile, a neighbor of the victim's says he seemed like a good person and that what happened to him is heartbreaking.
"I'm heartbroken because like he's young, you know. I didn't know him personally, but he wasn't rowdy, he wasn't disrespectful. Every time I see him in the hallway he was just like, 'What's going on?' 'You good?' He didn't cause no problems," says neighbor Shamel.
Police tell News 12 that Uchanma was reported missing Monday.
